Salary Calculator Australia (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides free online calculators and related information for Australian taxpayers at salarycalculatoraustralia.com. We are not affiliated with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), Services Australia, or any Australian government department.
We aim to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy applies to this website and does not cover any third-party sites we link to.
2. Information you enter into the calculator
The salary, tax and pay details you enter into our calculator (income, pay frequency, superannuation settings, HECS/HELP status, and similar fields) are processed directly in your browser to produce your results. This information is not transmitted to or stored on our servers as part of the calculation itself.
If you choose to use the “Download results” feature, the summary file is generated locally in your browser and saved to your own device — it is not sent to us in the process.
3. Information we collect automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider and any analytics tools we use may automatically collect standard technical information when you visit, which can include:
- Your IP address (typically stored in a de-identified or truncated form by analytics tools)
